Beautiful pendant necklace and earring set by Modernist designer Sydney Lynch from collector's estate. As with much of Lynch's work, this set's design lives in the intersection of the ornate and the natural, the sculptural and the organic. Both pieces are in very good gently used condition with no visible scratches or breaks. Please see detailed photos. Pendant measures 0.9" across and 1.25" in length including the bail. it features a bezel set stone that I believe to be a moonstone an...d a pearl dangle. The back is signed by the artist and is marked both 18K and 22K. The necklace is made of faceted barrel gemstone beads - most likely blue topaz - with gold spacers. The necklace measures 17.5" inches in length including the clasp. The earrings are 1.25" in length and are made of a beautifully patterned gold overlay over silver. They are stamped "Sydney Lynch Sterling." Silver patina has been left undisturbed. Note that one of the earring beads contains a small orange-ish inclusion as pictured. Lynch retired in 2018, and her work will only become more difficult to find, particularly in a matched set. Offered here with no reserve. Priority, insured shipping within 48 hours of purchase.
