Vintage Porcupine Quill Box Cream Yellow Brown Birch Bark Design. Condition is Used. This was given to me in the 1970's by family living in the Lake Huron region of Ontario. They were pipe smokers and the box still carries a faint (not unpleasant) aroma. It has been kept mostly inside a rubbermaid storage box. There appears to be one quill missing where the birch bark interior has cracked with age (see close-up). Some small brown stains (see photo) that do not come off and ...appear to be a natural staining of the quills. I am selling this because I imagine someone who collects these would like to have it, and I am not very attached to it.
