Here is a 3 piece military cook set consisting of 2 nesting pots and a fry pan which also serves as a lid. The pots are aluminum and the fry pan is stainless steel. I believe it was called a Mountain Squad Cook Set.The pots are marked on the bottom: U.S. F.E.S. CO. 1953The set nests creating a kit 8 inches in diameter by 4.5 inches tall. (20x11 cm). I estimate the larger pot to hold about 2 1/2 quarts. Maybe 3.The kit appears to have been used as there are scratches and signs of wear. ...The larger pot has a dented bottom which I tried to show in the photos. The folding handles of the fry pan/lid are stiff and seem a little bent. Although that might be the way they clip the kit together. See photos for this also. At any rate the entire kit remains entirely useable and ready for your next camping trip.
