Vintage Military Mess Hall Stainless Cooler Jug Carrollton MFG Co Insulated EUC. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. In the first 3 pictures I have the spout over some paper toweling with water in the thermos to show that as I'm taking these pictures I do not see anything dripping out of the spout and it feels dry to me. Considering its age and appears to be in good condition. At first I thought there was a ding in the cap on the inside but then I noticed that there i...s a little knob on the top of the cap that seems to correspond with the ding on the inside of the cap and I took a picture of that and I thought it was a dent but it appears to me that it might have been by Design. I can't say that there are no dents but if there are I have not seen any yet and if I do see any I will update the listing. There is paint missing from the handle as may be seen in the pictures. There is a sticker on the front of it that says do not use for milk or milk products and I do not know if that was original or if it was put on by the user and it is starting to peel off some and it may yet peel off more in time but I will leave it on there and when I wrap it I will wrap it so that hopefully the sticker will remain in place when I ship it. The spout is sitting at an angle and this may be seen in the pictures and perhaps especially in the picture or one of the pictures of the bottom. I have not tried to straighten it. I have not tested everything for leaks but I just tested the spout and I have not tested the lid to see are the cap or lid to see if the gasket is still good. Aside from putting watering it tested for leaks and making sure that the spot works with the water that is in it that I use for testing for leaks I have not used it. Please use the pictures that help determine the condition of this item. I am selling this item as is. It is not new and it has been used and that is a parent from perhaps the sticker that is on it. There are also marks and what appears to be scratches on it. The? In Attalla indicates that I do not know if this was ever used in a military mess-hall or if it was manufactured at a time when it could have been used in a military mess-hall was ever intended to be used in a military mess home but I did it sell one like this option and one that was sold what is similar to this one but was a one gallon one. I also remember as a kid drinking milk from a military-style mess hall and remember there was a lot of stainless steel there.
