This beautiful set of sterling silver flatware was originally manufactured in 1904. It was mfg. by the Wallace Silver Co. that has been around longer than most of us. The detail and beauty of this flatware is beyond anything I have seen in a very long time. The Pattern Violet is something to behold and very ornate it is also listed in the sterling book as a pattern that is hard to find and also very much sought after. Much to my dismay there is not a complete set for service for ...8. The following list is what we have to offer. 8 modern hollow handle knives, 8 dinner forks, 8 salad forks, 16 teaspoons, 4 round bowl soup spoons, 8 butter spreaders, 1 cream ladle, 2 solid serving spoons, 4 ice tea spoons/ tall drink spoons, 1 small dessert server, 1 master butter. There are a total of 61 pieces of the finest sterling your are ever going to find. The chest that comes with it has a few light scratches and needs a little TLC, there is no name on the box and it has one drawer. It is in very good condition considering its age. We will pay for the shipping USPS with insurance to make sure all bases are covered. NO MONOGRAM but a great area for one.
