DescriptionSILVER GILT MINIATURE DESK CLOCK London 1900 THOMAS WHEELER Superb sterling silver miniature desk clock by Thomas Wheeler London 1900. Silver gilt finish (gold plated sterling silver). Heavy gold wash to the interior. Enamel dial, clockwork movement in good working order. The cartouche on the top of the case is engraved with monogram EH under a ducal coronet.

Marks: T.W (Thomas Wheeler); lion silver mark; London assay office mark; date letter e for the year 1900. Dimensions: approx 3 inches tall. Weight: 8.66 troy oz (269g) gross weight including the movement etc.

The gilt exterior finish is fairly worn but the case is in terrific condition. The movement is ticking nicely. There is some hairline crackle in the enamel dial but no cracks or chips.
