Up for sale is our updated version of IC-based stereo decoder (also called Multiplexsee pic 1), not only optimized for tube radio but also customized to fit SABA Freiburg 14, Freiburg Studio A, SABA Freiburg 15, SABA CONTINENTAL 410US, SABA CONTINENTAL 420US, SABA Freudenstadt 14, Mainau 14 Stereo, Mainau 14 and the like. Key to this new version is a driver for EM87, which was widely used on many German tube radios as tuning andor stereo indicators in the 1960s. Make sure your radiotunerreceiver... and stereo amplifier are working properly and the sound is at its best, before connecting the decoder. IC used: PLL FM Multiplex Stereo Demodulator by worlds leading Semiconductor manufacturer: Toshiba, Hitachi or Sanyo. When you have installed this FM decoder, your radio will play full, rich and organic FM stereo you never experienced with it before. In addition to a dedicated stereo indicator (the Green LED, see Pic 7 and Pic 8), the EM87 on your radio will also work to indicate stereo signal reception. This decodersmultiplex is guaranteed to work with Saba models listed above, replacing vintage Saba decoder . Installation of this decoder is truly Plug n Play in most cases. This decoder increases 6.3V filament to 8V using transformer. Bridge rectifier and high quality electronic DC regulatorstabilizer are then used for best results. For SABA Freiburg 15MFreiburg 18Freiburg 18MBreisgau Automatic 15 de Luxe natural, to take advantage of this decoder, the 5th and 6th pins of the decoder socket under chassis need to connect to "f1" and "f2" (Filament 6.3v AC, see Pic 5) respectively.
