Vintage Gund 1966 Walt Disney Jungle Book Baloo Bear 30" Stuffed Animal & Disney Tag:
Very early and uncommon version of Baloo!
Our research shows that JUNGLE BOOK was released in the fall of 1967 … yet, this officially tagged Disney stuffed animal reads, "Jungle Book" with a 1966 copyright.
This Baloo is huge, too! Measures 30" tall from head to toe (22" when seated).
Felt eyes are in great shape. White fabric Disney tag is still attached and reads:...r>Walt Disney'sJungle Book© MCMLXVI Walt Disney Prod.
Backside of tag identifies this stuffed animal as a product of Gund! See posted images.
This Baloo is over a half-century old. His head sags a little and he has some minor discoloring … but his red felt tongue is clean and bright, his black felt hair shows no fading, his ears are secure, and seams all are tight.
Really, a terrific early version of Baloo!
