DESCRIPTIONA rare L&S Shiner Minnow box over stamped with "TROUTMASTER" included with the correct #6538 Troutmaster lure which is the deeper diving Model #65 in the red back & Stripes with yellow belly color and early painted opaque eyes. These blue shiner minnow boxes were over stamped with 'Troutmaster' and were the first used as the TroutMaster lures were being introduced and are rarely seen. This box is worn but the 'TroutMaster' can still be made out on the top surfa...ce of the box and the model number on the box ends verifies it's use for the TroutMaster lure. Even with the worn condition of the box this would be a wonderful addition to an LeMaster / L&S collection as an example of the introduction of the TroutMaster line of lures.
