Here is a nice B&S 2-horse engine that came off of a McLane lawn edger. It starts easily and idles good but has a knocking sound off of idle it seems a little quieter at idle. The gas cap, muffler, carburetor with governor springs, linkage and air filter housing are original. (needs an air filter element). The fuel tank is very clean. Only thing I see missing is a small shield on the one side, you can see where it goes in the pictures. I have a video of this engine running, i...f you would like to see and hear it run.I did an outside cleaning of the engine. It Looks very good, nice patina look, good color. The manufacture date is 1981. Horizontal Shaft is about a 1 1/2" long and 5/8 in diameter with a keyway. Model 60102 Type 0391-01 Code 81093001.
