Magnificent antique ChineseImperial Yellow porcelain plate.Circa 1900s.This is a fantasticplate with a vivid dragon in a roundel. It is surrounded by a large band of continuousfloral motif.The back has matchingcontinuous floral motif in the front.Reign mark of MingDynasty Hongxi Reign. The beautiful plate was made late 1800s and early 1900s.Imperial yellow groundplates were normally reserved for the Imperial family. Commoner were notallowed to use an Imperial yellow utensil. This kind ...of wares areone of the most sought after porcelain amongst collectors.The plate is in perfectcondition.
