This is an amazing Victorian Crazy Quilt!! The material is mainly velvet's with some silks. The center of the quilt has painted flowers and leaves. Two other squares of the quilt have painted flowers. The quilt follows a pattern of alternating crazy squares and 4 triangles that make a square. The pieces are beautifully embroidered together. There are embroidered children, cat, horse, bird, and multiple initial M's. The quilt is signed "From Min...nie, To Father". It is dated 1888. A couple of the silk pieces are starting to shatter but overall condition is excellent. Truly a special piece!!
