The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) was first released in the U.S. in January 1999. These boosters are from that 1st edition release by Wizards of the Coast. These cards are l...ong out of print and very rare today.
The Base Set introduced the original 150 Pokémon, including Charizard (Fire), Blastoise (Water), Venusaur (Grass) and of course Pikachu (Lightning).
Some Pokemon fans like to acquire cards to play the game, some to collect the cards, and some just to appreciate the cute anime artwork.
More 20 years in the closet!
* The edges have some small details, but the box is still sealed. See photos.
Each booster pack contains 11 cards: 1 rare, 3 uncommons and 7 commons. I will ship via FEDEX with tracking and insurance.
