1955 Black Americana GIRL “DIAPER DAN” FIGURINE w/THERMOMETER <\p>
From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Rare 1955 Black Girl Syroco Thermometer, the hard-to-find mate of the company's earlier Diaper Dan thermometer. Standing 5” tall, 3 1/4” wide and 1 7/8” deep, this is in excellent condition with a working thermometer. This figurine has a traditional racist depiction with big eyes and thick lips. Made by the Multi-Products Corp, t...his is in excellent vintage condition with no defects that I note beyond a small wrinkle and tiny stain in the gold cardboard that the thermometer is mounted on. I have recently purchased a significant collection of Black Americana and hope no one will take offense at these historically interesting and important items.
