Here is a rare very early vintage original autographed double weight 5" by 7" photo of actress and singer Dinah Shore, from 1944; part of the estate of a WWII soldier. Shore (1916-1994), born Frances Rose Shore, a popular solo songstress, produced such 1940s hits as Buttons and Bows, Blues in the Night, You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To and I'll Walk Alone. She moved on to a successful TV career with a musical show, The Dinah Shore Chevy Show (1956-1962), and a series of talk shows (197...0-1980). It has been said that her opening and closing lyrics of the Chevy Show - "See the U.S.A. in your Chevrolet... America's the greatest land of all" - practically defined the 1950s. Minor corner wear. A rare early autograph and rare image. Will ship worldwide. I always combine shipping on multiple orders.
