15.5" 39.5cm Tall Flower Angel Japanese Kokeshi Wooden Doll by Sansaku Sekiguchi

Description:

Big size 15.5inch tall Japanese kokeshi wooden doll made by Sansaku Sekiguchi.
This doll looks like an angel to me.
The flowers were so well painted, very soft, seems to match with the doll's a bit melancholy eyes' expression.
The eyes were also very well painted of course, there is lots of expression beyond the two thin lines.
The amber color of wood tone is also... good.
A little brown dent on the lower front, not very mindful I think. Some other rather not visible vintage marks, overall very nice condition (please refer to the pictures).
Sansaku (三作) engraved seal is on the lower back.
