Offered here is a high-polish 3-barrel hinge1947-48 Zippo lighter with the Town & Country Sloop. The Sloop is an early example of one of the eight original hand-painted Town & Country illustrations first introduced in 1949. The lighter comes in a hard to find early Town & Country special box.
The high-polish lighter case is very lightly used and has no nicks, dents, spots or spots except for some barely visible light hairlines. The hinge is tight. The paint is 100...%. The insert is correct but a flint is stuck in the flint tube. The box is in excellent condition but for the silk lining part of which has been stained, most likely by leaking lighter fluid.
