This is a great classic collectable. It is an occasional auction item so if you're tempted, now is the time. Anyway, everyone needs this for no reason at all. You don't need to use it, but if you do it is actually intended for pulling nails while standing or bending. It is also one of the few Keen Kutter tools that has a super large showy logo embossed. The Jaws and Shank are Steel; Malleable Iron Grip and Barrel; Dull Black Enameled with Embossed "Keen Kutter" Trade Mark in Red.... No Springs. The Movable Jaw has Enlarged Section at Rear and is Held Open by Gravity. Length Overall is 18" and Expands from 6" to 12". Patent Applied For. Circa 1920s. Shipping Flat Rate $15.
