LOT SS-OThis is one of several pieces of Jewelry, watches and other cases/boxes/caskets from our newest Estate that will be available online in our store. All of the pieces from this Estate are from a very prestigious southern Mansion in Cleveland County, NC.This stunning pill box/powder box is clearly marked F&B for Foster & Bailey and ca. 1878+. The top features beautiful guilloche enamel work, a mirror on the interior and what appears to be a gold filled approx. 4.5" long ch...ain with a ring that is approx a size 8 ( I believe the ring is most likely 9 or 10k gold but not sure). The box is approx. 1 5/8" in diameter x 3/4" tall. This piece is in very clean condition for age and use., The top opens and closes smoothly. Any example of wear/scuffs/scratches/etc. are shown in the photos and additional polishing may be desired.
