Featured in this auction is a sweet, two-handled little cabinet bowl made by Weller. This beautiful bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing, and no repairs. There are some rubs in the glaze along with glaze skips, drips and small glaze pinholes. The top rim appears to have been hand-molded and is not perfectly round. Otherwise, there is some very-light scuffing from gentle use. This bowl is 3-1/2" tall, 5-1/2" wide at ...the geometric handles, and 3-3/4" wide at the mouth. The bottom of the pottery is unmarked except for Weller's signature painted blue base identifying it as being from the Bedford Mat production line, circa 1910s. The little pot is slightly tapered with a shorter body and includes a panel design with small windows containing flower blooms. This gorgeous glaze is a thick, matte cucumber-green glaze that has dripped down to the base of the bowl. This vase is very clean both inside and out. Check out all 10 photos! This unusual little bowl is a real gem and would look amazing in your favorite display cabinet. It would also be perfect for any Weller or American art pottery collector.
