THE GRIPS ARE OF BULL HORN WITH BRASS INTERLINED PANELS AND BRASS CROSS GUARD. THE BLADE IS VERY WIDE AND STRONG WITH SPEAR-POINT AND CARVED SPINE, ONE SIDE HAS STAMPED MAKER MARKS IN TWO PLACES. VERY LARGE STRONG BOWIE KNIFE. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH MUCH PATINA AND AGE WEAR, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1800s.
