It is unusual to find a piece of this size with bothuncommon Apple Green Daylight Willemite (Photo #1) and rare Esperite andHardystonite in one piece! I have always heard that Esperite has a notoriouslydifficult fluorescence to photograph. Let me tell you, I have a new appreciation for those sellers thatregularly photograph Esperite with success!! Of course, I do not have expensive cameras and setups, so my resultscan’t be as superb as the photos they can get. UV... Photos, except Photo # 7, were taken in Shortwave. The Esperite is all the yellow-green fluorescing mineral onthe right side of Photo #2. See commentsbelow on how hard this is to accurately photograph. Photo #2 has been “brightened” so you can seethe Esperite, because the camera, without modification, sees it all asgreen. Although “overexposed”, thisphoto, which was “brightened” along with Photos #5 and 6 to show clearly wherethe Esperite is, shows that it is mainly on the right half of one face of thisrock. (I apologize for having to showphotos like this, which I would prefer not to). There is also a small amount of Esperite on the other face. The “Gemmy” Willemite seen in photo #1 is the band of wayoverexposed brilliant fluorescence (again because of my needing to increase the“brightness” in that photo for the Esperite to distinguish itself) on the rightedge of Photo #2.The Hardystonite appears in a few small areas on the backsideface, as seen in Photo #3. It was also photographedin Midwave for Photo #7 because that way it shows clearly for you exactly howmuch Hardystonite there is without all the Esperite and Willemite hiding it inthe photos. In person, all of these show well, although the Hardystonitedoes get overwhelmed by the brilliant Willemite if your eyes do not adjustproperly. This is a rock weighing 5.4 ounces (155 g), and measuringapproximately 2.50 inches X 2.25 inches X 0.75 inches (6.2 cm X 5.6 cm X 1.7cm).NOTE: Typical Blacklight UV will not show color. Also, the intensity of the color will varydepending on the strength of the lamp you have.I have set the shipping as Priority Mail for the insurance. If you plan on bidding on MORE than one rock, let me know BEFORE you pay your invoice, so I may combine shipping to save youmoney. I can often combine five or sixrocks in one box. If you pay first, Imust ship immediately and cannot offer combined shipping rates. **NOTE: I cannot combine shipping on International orders.**If you are the successful bidder, please leave positivefeedback.
