What are you bidding on today is a beautifully carved Chinese multi color jade scholar stone/mountain boulder on a exquistely carved wood stand.
The quality of the jade is enhanced by the fantastic carving, created by a master carver, the jade is carved with a child on a mountain holding on to a string of 5 coins, on the other end is a money toad that has 3 legs who brings wealth in abudance, sounds fantastic.
Pieces of this quality are extremely rare and for that reason ve...ry difficulty hard to find. The jade rests on a beautifully carved wood stand. The stand has carvings with pine branch's and other designs.
The small toad feels good when you hold it between your fingers.
This piece came to me from a great old collection of rare and unusual Chinese art objects along with other items I am listing.
This piece comes with its own carved wood presentation box lined in silk.
