Antique L. & J. G. STICKLEY Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Settee Bench Hallseat
Item History & Price
Antique Stickley Mission Settee Arts & Crafts Era
Bench has all the well built solid features once would expect of quality craftsmanship.Over a 100 years later and it is just as solid and sturdy a piece. The finish has it's share of stains and imperfections. Please see all pics as I have tried toshow them in various areas of the piece (primarily the seat). The true color of the settee is closer to the darker photos rather than the lighter ones. The legs look as though they h...ad been cut into. The wood appears to be all there, however, if you look closely, there are blade lines near the base of each leg.It was like this when I purchased it in the 80's from a home in the South Buffalo New York area. It is only noticeable upon close inspection and so displayed very well in my home.In any event, a rare find. This is the real deal. I have had this piece in my collection for decades. Of recent I have downsized and so forced to sell off some of my collection. I have included a picture from a collectors book from the 1980's. I am listing this as local pick up only as I will not be handling packing of furniture pieces. If you require shipping Buyer will arrange and pay for any costs related to shipping or pick up.
Please ask any questions prior to purchase as we understand buying from pictures is much different than live. We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns.
