Striking round of petrified wood. From Saddle Mountain in in Washington state. I'm not sure what exactly is going on with this slab. It has a wild and unique grain pattern. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Actually, on this piece, the polish is not perfect. While the polish is awesome, the polisher missed a small strip, about 3/4" wide. It is because that it is hardly noticeable I have decided to sel...l at a discount instead of re-polishing. If you would like a perfect one, the best known eBay wood seller currently has a VERY similar piece listed right now for 268 bucks. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Awesome agate. 12 x 8 1/2 x 1/2". I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. It is some of the best Pacific Northwest petrified wood, which is saying a lot!
