A CROW LATE 19TH C PAINTED PARFLECHE “MEDICINE BAG”, PROVENANCE, EXCELLENT, NR
“MEDICINE BAG BELONGED TO THE STONE BREAST FAMILY CROW INDIAN FOR MANY GENERATIONS - MRS. H.D. SCHULTZ”.
This antique “bag” has great color in primary colors similar to the color palette of the fauve artists of the same period.  Also, neat side panels include early brown twill wool with red trade cloth accents.
Measures approximately 8” x 12.5” excluding leather straps.  Be...autiful and striking historical American Indian piece.
