A very rare original photograph of PercivalProctor V G-AIAE, one of three Proctors that were brilliantly convertedinto a Junkers Ju-87 Stuka for the 1968 film ‘The Battle of Britain’. The three aircraft were thereafter known as“the Proctukas, ”, but turned out to be some of the most dangerous and barelyairworthy aircraft ever approved for flight. Unable to endure even the mostgentle of dives, they were scrapped, and radio-controlled models were usedinstead.The photog...raph isapproximately 5½ x 3½ inches (140 x 90 mm), and is in Fine condition.Details of the aircrafthave been neatly written on the reverse.
