VINTAGE STRUNG 50s MISS ROSEBUD DOLL MADE IN ENGLAND BFF TO GINNY, MUFFIE DOLLS

Here today for your consideration is a darling vintage 8 inch, hard plastic, strung (non walker), Miss Rosebud doll made in England. I have owned this little sweetheart for many years but do not know anything about her whereabouts prior to my ownership. As shown in the pictures she is clearly marked on her upper back Miss Rosebud Made in England. Under her hair on her neck I believe its marked Rosebud. This is the only Miss Rosebud doll I have come across and don't know much informatio...n about them. She is an 8 inch strung doll (non walker) that I believe was made in the 1950's to compete with the Ginny, Muffie and Wendy dolls of that era. I am not certain if her adorable outfit is original to her or not, its not tagged. I don't find any major marks, stains, fading holes, and no odors to her outfit. It appears to be from the 1950's era. Rosebuds body is in excellent condition with no unwanted marks, no color transfers and no odors. She has all of her fingers and toes. She has no problem standing on her own and holding poses. Her face paint is wonderful with vivid painted brown upper lashes and brows, blushed cheeks, and red painted lips. She could use a little refreshing of her blush. She has gorgeous crystal clear vivid blue eyes that sometimes open and close but for the most part they stay open now. Should they close during shipping just a little tap to the bottom of her feet or the top of her head will open them again. Her reddish/auburn wig is made of mohair that does have some slight fading in the back. Her wig can not be combed, but looks so cute framing her darling face. Her wig might date her back to earlier than the 50's, it kind of reminds me of the storybook dolls hair. Rosebud is an absolutely adorable doll that is seldom seen (at least in the USA) that would make a lovely companion to any 8 inch hard plastic doll collection.
