An antique Sioux beadwork miniature pipe bag, native used for medicine, paint, or ration tickets. Horses or elk are represented by the stick figures, so that's why I'm thinking a medicine bag. The beads in the bag are small and tightly sewn with sinew in colors of greasy yellow, white heart reds, and various shades of blue. Dimensions are approximately 8 12" long with the fringe by over 2" in width. The hide is soft and supple. Please study the photos, as they are the best description of this uni...que bag. Please take a look at our other interesting listings, including a pair of leggings owned by Forrest Fenn.

For the Barling pipe collector I am offering a group of 12 vintage pipe socks. All appear to be a satin material. They might be used but still in very good condition. They came from my late fathers retail pipe shop that has closed after 49 years of business. 6 black 6 78" x 3 12", 5 red 6 12" x 3 14" and 1 gold 7 12" x 3".
This item has sentimental value to me and I could never bring myself to finish it. It is done in 110 beads by someone that passed over years ago and is excellent work. As you can see the back is in perfect condition. It is brain tanned, medium smoked and well worth the money you won't find this old style quality anymore. If I didn't need to sell I would not. It is done on deerhide. When you leave me feedback, I will do so in kind. Thank you for stopping by.
