Original Early 1950's Bohlin Supreme Silver Saddle Corona fits serapes. In the early 1950's the Bohlin Company switched from carpet with sheepskin to canvas with felt coronas. This particular corona is extremely rare and in great condition for its age. It was specifically designed for use with the Bohlin Supreme silver saddles with serapes and has the special added feature of a section of the "lion’s tail” wool rim that can be snapped in when the saddle was ridden without sera...pes. It also has, in perfect condition, the slide bars to attach both serapes.
Included is a photo of the original corona and saddle together, also included is a photo from a pair of Bohlin Supreme Serapes with the slots on top illustrating where they would attach to the corona slide bar. Plus, a photo of that type Bohlin corona with the serapes attached. The total measurement inside the lions tail at the bottom longest point for the skirts is 28" and the measurement from the back end of the corona inside the lions tail to the dead center of the top of the corona is 13".
