Based on Eldridge Johnson's manufacturing contracts, it is believed that production of this style numbered 3500 units before it was superseded by the improved Gramophone... Great condition For its age Working condition
plenty of photos to help with the description still dusty from years on display - uncleaned! The horn elbow is a newer replacement as the original has long since rotted away. The motor has number #1076 with patent pending stamped . The tone arm support bracket sags down (must be held up to play a record) , this is an original manufacturing & design fault that was rectified in the next model . There is no serial number on the reproducer , only a 'J '.The record hold-down is old but has been altered at some stage .The machine is strong , relatively quite and can play a record all the way through!
