This is a previously smoked S. Bang Tobacco Pipe, Smooth Straight Apple with real Silver Accent Band. The chamber and airways have been cleaned. Markings read, " S. Bang Kobenhavn, Handmade in Denmark, 9 " . Marking on silver accent band reads, "Bang 925?" . This pipe was made in 1992. The "9" is the grade. Nine ("9") is seventh out of eleven grade levels with S Bang pipes. This pipe has perfect grain, no blemishes or imperfections I see. Beautiful straight grain, and gorgeous birdseye... as well.
This pipe is in excellent condition. No teeth marks on the stem or bit. No big scratches or dings. There are a few small light hairline scratches on the bowl. Too light to photograph, but can be found with a close look, if you're looking for them. There is some rim darkening. The silver band is in excellent condition - no scratches or dents.
