Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of "blue cap" tourmaline crystals from the famed Sapo Mine!!! This pair of specimens features a single, intact crystal and a crystal that has a naturally split "blue cap" that is actually a facetable "gem nodule"...!!! The "gem nodule" specimen fits perfectly together and one can see gorgeous blue color through the c-axis!!! The nodule itself shows classic rounded appearance and is gem clear through the c-axis (apparently any blemishes are localized in the thin outer rind)!!! Both crystals show the classic, sought after, Sapo coloration with a pronounced blue cap followed by a zone of yellowish to a core of pink!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
