SGT JOHN HENRY READE OF THE 398TH INFANTRY, COMPANY F, ALSO PART OF 7124TH TANK BATTALION, TELLS HIS MOTHER AND FATHER OF A SPECTACULAR EVENT HE WITNESSED WHILE GUARDING ADOLF HITLER'S CAPTURED YACHT IN A TANK, MENTIONING OVER EIGHT FOUR-STAR (OR HIGHER) GENERALS PARTYING ON THE YACHT DURING AN APRIL EVENING IN 1945.
HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT 'IKE WAS SUPPOSED TO COME' BUT NOTED THAT APPARE...NTLY HE ASSUMED HIS RANK WASNT HIGH ENOUGH. THIS, OF COURSE, REFERS TO FUTURE PRESIDENT DWIGHT D. 'IKE' EISENHOWER!
