This pair of figural bookends of a man and woman are in good condition (see photos) with expected wear and a few minor chips, most noticeably on the top of the man's hat. They weigh a total of 3 lbs, 1 oz. The man stands 6 5/8" tall and 2 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" deep at the base, while the woman is 5 7/8" tall and also with a 2 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" deep base. There is felt on the bottoms of both figures. I am not sure if they are carved from argillite or some other s...tone.
