This is a rare, highly desirable & stunning ceramic piece. An Art Deco Pottery Figure of an exotic Young Woman, circa 1930’s modeled by The Ceramic Italian Artist Manna (formerly of Lenci). Graceful Matte Glazed Body & hand painted apparel with translucent glaze. “Noa-Noa” is bare breasted, seated with legs crossed, dressed in a vibrantly decorated skirt of orange, blue, black& gold wearing a an orange head dress and gold earrings. She is holding a large green basket ...in her hands & resting on her lap.Painted marks to base - C.I.A Manna, Torino, "NOA NOA" No. 681. Made in Ital “CIA” Label is firmly affixed to the bowl.(note: a portion of the label has come off)Overall Height - 11 1/4“ x Overall Width - 10 1/2”Condition - Excellent condition(given the age)with minor wear on underside of second toe & some slight marks on arms. No cracks or chips. No repairs. Crazing exists on base.
