This antique Chinese blue silk damask weave dragon robe remnant fragment fabric trim dates from the mid 19th century during the Qing Dynasty. It is made of a bright royal blue color silk damask weave brocade fabric with a silver thread woven tapestry pictorial partial design of a dragon, clouds of smoke, crane bird and precious objects auspicious symbols of good fortune. This Manchu offi...cials semiformal jifu dragon robe remnant fragment has decorative woven trim edging and is lined, backed in a blue silk fabric. The fabric measures 18 inches long cut and is 16 inches wide. It is in good as-is condition for upcycling or framing. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Chinese textile art!
