Wow you don't find them like this doll very often. Up for auction is a NMIB Elise #1718 and she is complete and in excellent condition. It is obvious that this is a doll that has never been played with. Everything about her is crisp and minty. She has all original bright coloring. Her hair is in its original set and still retains the netting. She has all of her eyelashes and her eyes are nice and bright. The only minor flaw is that one eye tends to not want to go all the way open but w...ith a little adjusting it will. I think it is just something that occurred with age and as you can see in the pictures it does not effect her overall beauty in any way. Her body is in good condition with no cracks, stains or smells. There is a very faint light brown line on the right side of her forehead that I did not notice until I went to picture her. I personally think it is from where the netting laid across it for all these years. It does not detract from her beauty but I wanted to mention it. She is wearing a beautiful pink dress with shadow print flocked flower design. The dress is tagged and has lots of original starchiness to the fabric. The dress is free of any stains, tears, holes or odors. The lace trim is nice and white and just perfect. Under the dress she has on a beautiful pink lace slip with tulle trim on the inside hem of the slip. The slip is nice and tight with great stretch. The pink bloomers are also in mint condition. She has on tight hose with no visible runs and her pink high heel shoes are just outstanding. They have beautiful pink stretch elastic and lovely silver bottoms. To finish this outfit is a stunning pink hat. The pink color of the hat is sheer perfection. It is wrapped in pink tulle and has gorgeous large dark pink flowers and a green velvet bow. Lastly she retains her original pearl earrings which are in excellent condition. Her box shows normal wear and is correctly marked for this doll. All together she is a simply stunning doll that would be a stand out in any collection. Please take a look at all my other listings this week.
