Made some grille covers for these. Just acceptable but they look better than the old ones.Bought three pair of old classic speakers last weekend at an estate sale. All were partially refurbished - AR 2, AR 2x, and Advents. The Advents are ready (in another auction) and now the AR-2's are. The AR 2x's will take a bit longer.These AR-2's are all original. Serial numbers B 58264 and B 59407. Didn't do any refurbishments but did test... and clean the tone control. The original grille frames and cloth will need some work or need to be replaced. Natural wood cabinets. A classic from Acoustic Research, Inc. Made in the USA.Thanks for bidding!
