Antique Craig Family Weavers Coverlet 1845 - 1860 Blue and White. Coverlet has the typical Courthouse with cupola corner block used by the Craig's. The Craig family weavers included; William Sr., William Jr., and James. The family lived and wove in Indiana from the early 1840's, with no extent coverlets after 1860. Attributing an individual coverlet to a particular family member weaver is known to be near impossible. The coverlet is cotton and wool and is in excellent condition; there ...are no holes, pulls, or losses. There are two small stains (as pictured). The white is white with minimal toning. Center seam is intact. Coverlet comes from collectors in a non-smoking home and stored properly.
