A fine and very rare Victorian sterling silver coffee pot in the Cellini pattern.Based upon original art from the Renaissance.

Slender ovoid with period engraved raised star fish family crest, f...lanked by grazing mountain goatfruit and floral displays.Below classical torsos atop stand, above alternating demon and maiden masks and tear drop fluting.Cover retains the original flower decorated beaded edge bell finial, with originalfastener below.Collar and panel flower decorated demon mount spout.Boldly cast tapering caryatid (maiden head and torso) handle.Atop mask and leaf decorated two step base.
This rare 1881 British Cellini coffee pot just under 11 inches talland weighs 34 standard ounces.
In fine condition.
Rich sterling throughout.
Retains original detail.Handle secure, I had our silversmith replace the original stopswith well matched composite.
