We are listing today a great Ancient African or Pre Columbian Pottery Redware or Earthenware Incised Decorated Handled Vase or Pot with Wood Stirrer. This pot is in Excellent Condition showing it's age and use with 2 old secured hairline cracks, 1 on the side the other to the left of the handle, and surface roughness, you can see old firing ping marks. No other chips, cracks, or repairs. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happ...y with the excellent condition. The pot measures 5" tall x 5 1/2" at the top rim x 8" wide at the handle x 2 1/4" at the base and weighs approximately 2lb 3oz. Great hand incised decorations throughout, a hand tooled loop handle with old reed material holding a stirrer. We believe this is an old African Ceremonial Pot used to mix face paint.
