This is an Antique Early 20th Century Oak Cased Gustav Becker Wall Clock with Chime. This clock is in excellent condition and is in full working order. The clock has an oak casing, with a dark, biscuit coloured finish. It has a beautiful grain and a patina, which enhances the appearance of the clock The front of the clock is a oak framed glass door, with a circular glass panel showing the face, and a... rectangular, leaded glass window, showing the pendulum. All glass is intact and in excellent condition. The leaded glass has beveled edges, creating a beautiful light reflection. On each side of the door is a ribbed border, topped with a carved wood, flower decal. The top of the clock has a shaped wooden finial with a scrolled, carved, wooden decal. The face is brass with black numbers and hands. The centre of the face is marked: GB on a crowned anchor, which is the symbol for Gustav Becker. There are two winding holes to the face. Underneath the face is the pendulum chamber, where there are three chime rods. These are in working order. The pendulum has a wooden rod and brass bob. This clock is complete with it's key. There is a wall-mounting barcket at the back of the clock.
