Pre Columbian, Jade, Early Classic/Early Post Classic, Choice green jade Costa Rican necklace pendant, 11 grams, 2 1/4 inches in length, 11/16 inches in width, 5/16 inches in depth, no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs, the carving is in perfect or choice condition. I looked over every square millimeter of this pendant with my AmScope, there are no modern tool or polishing marks on it, the ancient lapidary who created this artifact did an excellent job. Unless advised, all p...hotographs were taken by the seller with a Canon digital camera and a laboratory quality AmScope 3.5 x - 180 x Trinocular Stereo Microscope with a mounted microscope digital camera, mounted and non mounted lighting and the appropriate Barlow lenses (an image of the microscope I use is posted at my store). Images 1 thru 7 were shot with the Canon camera, the images reflect the subject Costa Rican necklace pendant at different angles. Images 8 thru 12 were shot with the AmScope, they reflect magnified and highly magnified images of the suspension hole, incising marks, mineral and earthly deposits. All artifacts are packed by the seller with extreme care utilizing the best shipping materials money can buy. All purchaser/bidders residing outside the U.S. lower 48 States and Canada must advise, artifacts from my collection have been shipped to art galleries in New York and Denver, and to residents of Germany, France, Switzerland, Britain, Austria and Russia. Shipping rates to Europe likely 2+ times the cost of North American rates as full insurance with tracked service is not optional, and I pack your purchase to survive..intact.
