An excellent small size ceramic Clarke’s Fairy lamp holderhere with floral design, roses. Cream and turquoise with gold lining. Has a TRADE MARK inside with black print which reads: S.CLARKE’S PATENT FAIRY PYRAMIDMakers mark underneath, a bit faint, is for TaylorTunnicliffe.Measures 4 inches across the base, just under 102 mm. Justover 1½ inches, 40mm, high. The internal diameter where the shade fits is justunder 2½ inches, 62.5 mm.There is damage. A chip to the rim as show...n. Very slightglaze crazing and very minor a few imperfections to the gold lining.Comes with a three piece moulded hobnail glass shade. This isI think opaline, a very pale bluish tint which looks light amber when held upto the light. It is slightly thickerglass and heavier than normal.It is 2 5/8 inches, 67 mm, high, the outside diameter is justover 2 3/8 inches, 63mm. Not quite circular, but fits the base nicely in with thecracks at the back!It has damage as seen, chips to the top rim and a 1½ inchcrack (approx.).
