ITEMDESCRIPTION: Picturesare the actual item youwill receive. OA1B30
These are authentic vintage Bavarian Schneider Trachten Souvenir Collectible Dolls in Cases from Bayern, Germany, 6" tall. They have sleep eyes that open and close when laying down. This price Includes BOTH dolls. The Manufacturer is Schneider. Trachten refers to "wearing" in German for the folkloric clothing you see. These were Souvenirs sold in shops in Bavaria from probably late 1950s into 1960s. The Black Forest of Germany is about 150 miles from Bayern.
The cases are just plastic tubes they were sold in with plastic lid and cardboard bottom. These do not seem to have been played with much, if at all. Notice the arm came off the guy, but it is in the package held in his jacket. Notice the Swiss / Bavarian traditional folklore style clothing with authentic details. Eyes open and close, plastic body. These include the cases, which you can see the condition of and missing bottom on his and top on both top and bottom on hers but the labels are intact. Cases are cracked, but kind of hold their shape. Still great for display outside of the cases. See the quarter in picture 2 above their heads for relative size, about 5 1/2 or 6 inches.
