Great lot 8 original vintage 1948 tin litho & metal pinback buttons - Henry Wallace for President (with running mate Taylor) of the US - FDR’s running mate veep in 1940, he was bumped in 1944 for being too progressive by the powers responsible for FDR’s 4th time on ballot - ran in ’48 against the man who replaced him in Democratic primaries, Harry Truman, and lost - but has always been a great part of progressive politics history - nice lot of buttons from that race - this lo...t represents the various constituencies Wallace was seeking - youth, students, labor, etc… All nice, some look maybe unused or lightly used, see jpegs - 1 missing pin in back - a great collection of US left progressive political history.Returns are accepted on domestic sales only but only if the item is in the same condition as it was shipped in.
