Welcome For auction is this group of old Chinese embroidered silk sleeve bands. First is a single sleeve band, very finely woven with forbidden stitch. Measures appx. 4 18 x 19 14". Cut along edges. Some holes, mostly along edges. Embroidery generally well preserved, with some wear, soiling, stains, and possible minor scattered loosemissing threads. Pair of yellow bands are joined at the center and measure appx. 6 x 26" (measured together). They are actually longer as can be seen from the back w...here they are sewn onto on each other. Light soiling, wear, minor stains and some scattered loosemissing threads. Very nice group of textiles. Please see images for details.
