Indian artifacts pre 1600, Bi-Pointed flint blade(arrowhead). Condition is Used. This is a really nice bi-pointed knife from Kentucky. It measures just over 4 and 1/2 inches long, and just over 1 and 1/2 wide in the middle of the blade. I think these ancient knives are fairly early; they are not totally rare, but rare enough. I have seen some frames of these ancient knives for sale, and they break down usually a couple hundred dollars a piece.If one handles these types of knives, you w...ill see that most flint blades are made in a similar fashion, it's prehistoric engineering in it's simplest form. Ancient tools are predominately engineered as hand tools. I purchased this blade years ago from a really good seller at a show in Kentucky. This is a nice authentic ancient blade. I don't pretend to know it all, but I start out with what I know is ancient, and work my way backward. One can usually ascertain an ancient blade just by handling it. This is a great study tool.
