This is a VINTAGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK SLANT DROP FRONT SECRETARY DESK BOOKCASE w/ original Key/Lock, Mirror, and Shipping Label. This item is from the late 1800s to early 1900s.Very good vintage/antique condition and is solid oak. Item is structurally solid for its age and normal use. It has the original working lock with key, original beveled glass mirror, original pigeon holes/slots, original applied carvings, and original attached shipping label.(see pictures)All i...tems are solidly attached.It was made by The Larkin Soap Manufacturing Company, Buffalo, NY, USA per shipping label.(see pictures) Its total size is about 62" High x 30" Wide x 11 1/2" Deep.The Mirror is about 13" x 7".The 2 curved top shelves are about 6" x 7" each.The drop front is about 16" x 28 1/2".The center vertical pigeon hole/slot is about 4 1/2" W x 4" H x 6 1/2" D, The other 6 in that vertical line up are about 4" W x 4" H x 6 1/2" D.The 2 horizontal pigeon holes/slots are about 9 1/2" W x 2" H x 6 1/2" D.(see pictures)An excellent item for your home or office.This item is in the Knoxville, TN, metro area (Maryville, TN).
